Description
A CULTURAL JOURNEY OF RHYTHM, FAITH, & RESISTANCE
Tracing the living legacy of Africa in the heart of Panama
April 6 – April 16, 2027
This 10-day cultural immersion explores the African legacy in Panama — from Spanish colonial rule and maroon resistance communities to Afro-Caribbean canal builders and contemporary cultural expression. Through music, faith, storytelling, art, and direct community engagement, we trace how African traditions survived, adapted, and continue to shape Panama today.
This is more than travel — it is a journey into resilience, resistance, and diasporic connection.
